Unit fire at Elizabeth Vale

Emergency services responded to reports of black smoke and flames visible inside a vacant duplex property on Kennedy Street, Elizabeth Vale at 4pm on Tuesday 5 November.

The fire was extinguished by MFS crews.  There were no reported injuries.

The unit was extensively damaged, with smoke damage to the adjoining premises.

Crime scene investigators, fire cause investigators and CIB detectives attended and examined the scene.

Police are treating the fire as suspicious.
