Man sought over city assault

About 10.20pm on Friday 24 May, the female victim was exiting a ride-share car on Burnett Street, Adelaide when she was allegedly knocked to the ground by an unknown man and assaulted.

The young woman sustained minor injuries and concussion, requiring medical treatment.

Police attended by the suspect had left prior to patrol arrival.  He was last seen heading south across Currie Street.

The man is described as of African appearance, average height, wearing a navy suit jacket, tan pants and brown dress shoes.
