Aggravated robbery Edwardstown

Police are investigating following an aggravated robbery at a southern suburbs bottle shop last night.

At 6.40pm on Sunday 12 January, police were called to a liquor store on Cross Road, Edwardstown after a group of four masked suspects entered the store.

One of the suspects was armed with a hammer.

Staff retreated to the storeroom, and the group allegedly stole an amount of alcohol and left the store.

Thankfully staff were not physically injured.

Patrols and Dog Operations Unit members were quickly on scene however were unable to locate the suspects at the time.
