Bottle shop robbery

Southern District Police have arrested two males following a aggravated robbery at a Plympton bottle-o yesterday.

Just before 4pm (Tuesday 14 January) police were called to the Anzac Highway business after reports a group of up to four people had entered and stolen an amount of alcohol.

Three staff members confronted the group and an altercation ensued. The staff members received non-life-threatening injuries.

Today (Wednesday 15 January) police arrested a 15-year-old boy from Sheidow Park and a 39-year-old man of no fixed address.

Both have been charged with robbery and been refused police bail.

They will appear before the Christies Beach Youth and Magistrates Court tomorrow (Thursday 16 January)

Police continue to search for the remaining two other people involved in the robbery.
