Car hits Stobie pole at Bellevue Heights

The collision occurred near the intersection of Shepherds Hill Road and Ashmore Road, Bellevue Heights at 7pm on Thursday 12 December.

The impact spun the Mazda station wagon around and severely damaged the Stobie pole.

The driver, a 73-year-old woman from Blackwood, was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

SA Power Networks were required to replace the pole.

The car was towed from the scene.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
