Police are investigating a chemist break-in at Darlington early this morning.

Just after 5am on Tuesday 3 December, police responded to alarm activations at a chemist on Seacombe Road. When patrols arrived, they found that the glass doors had been smashed to gain entry to the premises.

Officers discovered medication has been stolen.

Patrols searched the area with the assistance of PD Duke and his handler but unfortunately were not able to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 180cm tall wearing a black hooded top, black pants and black sneakers.

Anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time and saw someone matching that description is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at www.crimestopperssa.com.au or on 1800 333 000. You can remain anonymous.
