Drink driver at North Brighton

A man has been caught drink driving after being stopped at North Brighton.

At 7pm on Monday 3 March police stopped a Hyundai sedan on King George Avenue at a driver testing station. The driver a 22-year-old from Glenelg North allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.129.

The man was reported for drink driving and issued a six-month instant loss of licence.

His vehicle was impounded for 28 days. He will be summoned to attend court at a later date.
