Drink driver blows 0.172 at Morphett Vale

A drink driver was detected at Morphett Vale overnight.

Police pulled over a vehicle on McMahon Road, Morphett Vale just before 1.30am on Thursday 13 March for a mobile driver test.

The driver, a 28-year-old Seacombe Gardens man, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.172 - more than three times the legal limit.

He was reported for drink driving and breaching his P conditions and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

He was issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
