A man has been detected drink driving at West Richmond last night.

About 11.15pm on Monday 1 July, police were patrolling along Marion Road when they stopped the driver of a Holden sedan for a roadside breath test.

The man allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.212, more than four times the legal limit.

A 28-year-old man from the Riverland was reported for drink driving, issued with a twelve-month instant loss of licence and had his car impounded for 28 days. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
