A woman has been reported for drink driving after colliding with a road barrier.

About 8.40pm Tuesday 25 June, police responded to a report of single vehicle crash at the intersection of Panalatinga and Wheatsheaf Roads.

At the scene, police located a Holden station wagon that had collided with a roadside barrier.

Police spoke with the driver of the vehicle, a 41-year-old woman from Noarlunga Downs. The driver submitted to a breath test returning a positive result of 0.165, more than three times the legal limit.

The woman was issued with a 12 month instant loss of licence notification and she has been reported for drink driving and drive without due care. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date. The vehicle was badly damaged and was towed from the scene.
