Update: Fatal house fire at Morphett Vale

Just after 3am this morning (Wednesday 13 November), emergency services were called to Woodcroft Drive after reports of a fire at the property.

Fire crews, paramedics and police all rushed to the scene and MFS began bringing the blaze under control.

A woman was located deceased inside the property, believed to be the 63-year-old occupant.

Southern District CIB members along with Fire Cause Investigators attended the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire.

The cause of the fire is undetermined however it is not suspicious.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
