House fire southern suburbs

About 11.40am on Sunday 7 July, police were called to Julian Street after reports of flames coming from the roof of a home.

When emergency service arrived the house was well alight, and the occupants were out of the house.  Patrols evacuated nearby residents in surrounding homes while MFS crews battled the blaze.

There were no reported injuries, but the house was completely destroyed.

Police Fire Cause Investigators are attending the scene today.  At this time the cause of the fire is undetermined.
