A man was arrested after allegedly breaking into a chemist at Christie Downs.
Police were called to Flaxmill Road, Christie Downs about 6.45am on Monday 21 April by reports of someone trying to break into the chemist.
Patrols arrived quickly and allegedly caught the suspect red-handed with an angle grinder trying to break-in.
Another suspect ran off. Police searched the area but have not yet identified or located the outstanding suspect.
Inquiries are continuing.
Officers found an attempted break-in at the chemist; however, no entry had been gained.
The 40-year-old Christie Downs man was arrested and charged with attempted aggravated serious criminal trespass. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court tomorrow, Tuesday 22 April.
