Man arrested after Morphett Vale break-in

It will be alleged that about 9.30pm on Tuesday 11 March, police were called to a house in Ayre Street after reports that a man had broken into the victim’s house and stole items from inside, including a quilt and drink.

No one was injured during the break-in.

Police searched the area and located the suspect nearby.

A 30-year-old Prospect man was charged with serious criminal trespass and theft. He was refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.
