A man has been arrested after a pursuit in the southern suburbs.
It will be alleged that about 9.30pm on Saturday 18 January, police spotted a green Ford Festiva sedan on Beach Road at Christie Downs that was wanted in connection with several break-ins in the southern area.
The car then sped off, with police pursuing the vehicle with the assistance of PolAir through Hackham and back through Port Noarlunga South, before the driver dumped the car in Marlborough Street.
He then broke into a house in Berwick Street and confronted the occupants, before running back out and climbing on to the roof of the house about 10pm.
No one was injured.
The man climbed down soon after and was arrested.
A 25-year-old man has been charged with numerous offences including a driving dangerously to escape a police pursuit, aggravated serious criminal trespass, hinder police and state false personal details. He has been refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday.
