A second juvenile has been arrested after a crime series at Tonsley yesterday.
Police were called to Union Street, Tonsley just before 2am on Monday 18 November by reports that a car had crashed into another parked car and a house.
When patrols arrived, they discovered the Kio Rio sedan had been stolen during a break-in at a neighbouring property. Entry had been gained to the house through the internal garage door and the car keys and car stolen.
The stolen car reversed out the driveway and collided with the neighbour's car and house before driving off.
None of the residents were confronted or injured during the incident.
One suspect was located a short distance away. The 16-year-old boy from Clovelly Park was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass, theft, illegal use, property damage and failing to stop at the scene of a crash.
The stolen Kia was later found in Mary Street, Mitchell Park and towed away for forensic examination.
Following investigations, a second suspect was arrested last night.
The 14-year-old boy from Edwardstown was charged with serious criminal trespass.
Both youths were bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court on 30 January.
