Suspicious fire at Aldinga Beach

Just after 2am this morning (Saturday 15 March), police and MFS were called to Illman Crescent, Aldinga Beach after reports a tree was on fire.

Patrols and MFS arrived on scene and found the fire had spread to a house and car.

MFS crews quickly extinguished the blaze however the fire caused extensive damage to both the house and car.

Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries.

Fire cause investigators will be attending at the scene later this morning to determine the cause of the fire.

Police believe the fire to be suspicious and ask anyone with information or may have CCTV or dash cam to assist with the investigation to please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
