A teenager was arrested after allegedly breaking into a Sturt home in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to a home in Ralph Street, Sturt about 4.45am on Sunday 27 October. The occupants reported that they had been awoken by someone entering their house and stealing their car keys.
Police searched the area but did not locate any suspects.
About an hour later, at 5.30am, the car beeped and flashed as if the key fob had been pressed.
Patrols again searched the area and located a suspect in Darling Street, allegedly in possession of the car keys.
The 15-year-old boy from Daw Park was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass.
He was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court on 19 December.
