18 Jun 2024 9:31pm

Two teenagers were arrested this afternoon after an alleged robbery at a Seaford service station.

Police received a report of a robbery at a service station on Shearer Drive, Seaford at 3.30pm on Tuesday 18 June.

It will be alleged two offenders stole items from the store and, when confronted by the attendant, allegedly produced a knife and ran off.

Thankfully, although the attendant was shoved during the altercation, there were no reports of physical injuries.

Police immediately tracked the pair to the nearby Seaford Meadows railway station, where officers also allegedly recovered the knife.

A 16-year-old Warradale girl and a 15-year-old Morphett Vale boy were both arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

The girl was refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court tomorrow, Wednesday 19 June.  The boy was bailed to appear in court on 1 August.
