Trespassers caught on Plympton construction site

A quick response by Police Dog Duke and handler caught two people red-handed on a building site at Plympton overnight.

Police were called to an alarm activation at a premises under construction on Marion Road, Plympton at 4.30am on Sunday 27 October.

Police Dog Duke and handler were the first to arrive and located two people hiding behind a skip bin.

Patrols arrived and arrested the pair.

A 38-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man, both from Ascot Park, were charged with being unlawfully on premises.  The woman was also charged with unlawful possession after she was allegedly found in possession of equipment stolen from the site.

The pair were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 12 December.
