Two people were arrested after allegedly breaking into vehicles in the Morphett Vale area overnight.
Police were called to Owen Place, Morphett Vale about 12.15am on Tuesday 10 December after a resident saw two people trying car door handles in the street.
Southern District patrols quickly responded and located two people in dark clothing on Pimpala Road who matched the images captured on CCTV.
The two suspects, a 24-year-old man of no fixed address and a 20-year-old Morphett Vale woman, were arrested and charged with illegal interference.
It will be alleged the man was found in possession of 85 rounds of ammunition and other items and he was also charged with firearms offences, possess prescription medication and going equipped to commit an offence.
They were refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court later today, Tuesday 10 December.
Investigations are continuing.
