Two speeding drivers caught at Bellevue Heights

About 9.30pm Saturday 22 March, police were conducting speed detection duties on Shepherds Hill Road when they detected two Hyundai sedans travelling at 138km/h in a signed 60km/h zone.

Police managed to stop both cars and speak to the drivers a 23-year-old man from Kuitpo and a 17-year-old boy from Eden Hills.

The 23-year-old man was reported for extreme speed.

The 17-year-old boy was reported for extreme speed and contravene provisional licence conditions.

They were both issued with a 12-month immediate loss of licence and both the cars were impounded for 28 days.

They will both be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
