Quick work by patrols has led to the arrest of two people at Morphett Vale.
It will be alleged that about 8.10pm on Saturday 26 October, police were called to Main South Road near Conington Crescent after reports that a delivery driver had been assaulted by two males armed with sticks, who then stole food he had just picked up to deliver.
The driver was not seriously injured.
One of the youths later returned to the restaurant and threatened a staff member with a knife before stealing a mobile phone and running away.
The male staff member was not injured.
Patrols were on scene soon after and located the suspects nearby. The knife and mobile phone were recovered by police.
A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy both of Morphett Vale will face numerous charges including aggravated robbery.
