13 Apr 2025 8:14am

Police are investigating after a group of teenagers allegedly smashed windows at a Morphett Vale shopping centre a short time ago.

Alarms at the shopping complex on Main South Road, Morphett Vale were activated just before 6am on Sunday 13 April.

Patrols quickly arrived and found several smashed windows at the shops; however, it doesn’t appear that entry has been gained.

Witnesses reported seeing a group of teenagers running away.

Police quickly arrested a 14-year-old Morphett Vale girl nearby.  She has been charged with property damage.

Officers searched the area for the other teens with the assistance of Police Dog Duke but have not yet located them.

Investigations are continuing.

Crime scene investigators will attend and examine the scene this morning.
