Woman faces court on drug charges

A woman has been arrested in the southern suburbs for drug trafficking.

On Tuesday 1 April, Southern District police attended and searched a Glandore home following reports of a theft from a Brighton property.

Police located stolen property along with methamphetamine and a large quantity of cash.

Following an investigation Detectives further searched a Clovelly Park home seizing methamphetamine and an amount of cash.

A 51-year-old woman of the address was arrested and charged with drug trafficking.

The woman was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on the 28 May.

Investigations are continuing with further arrests expected.

Police continue to investigate offences relating to the sale of illicit drugs and minimise the impact on the broader community in relation to drug use and other offences.
