21 Jul 2024 5:00pm

A man has been reported for hoon driving at Parafield last night.

Just after 5.30pm Saturday 20 July, police received reports of a car doing burnouts in a carpark on the corner of Kings Road and Main North Road.

Police were able to identify the vehicle involved, a Ford Falcon ute, and made subsequent enquiries at the registered owners address at Salisbury North.

Officers located the Ford in the carport but discovered the number plates had been removed and the bonnet switched from a red to a white one.

A 27-year-old man from Salisbury North was reported for failing to truly answer, misuse of a motor vehicle and driving in a manner dangerous. He was issued with a twelve-month instant loss of licence and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
