A drink driver has been reported after allegedly crashing into a parked car at Para Hills last night.
Just before 9.30pm on Friday 18 April, police were called to Rialto Avenue at Para Hills after reports a white Hyundai Elantra crashed into a parked gold Toyota Lexus.
Northern District patrols were quickly on scene and fortunately no one was injured as a result of the crash.
The driver, a 27-year-old man from Para Hills, was breath tested and he returned a positive result of 0.208 – more than four times over the legal limit.
The man was reported for driving without due care and drink driving. He was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
Both cars were towed from the scene.
