A P plater has been caught drink driving in Tanunda over the weekend.
About 2.30 am, Sunday 15 September police were called to Murray Street after reports a Holden sedan had collided with a kerb and driven into the embankment.
Police located the vehicle and spoke with the driver, an 18-year-old local man and submitted him to a breath test where he returned a positive result of 0.109. Further checks revealed he was on his P's.
He was reported for drink driving and breaching a condition of his provisional licence, he was issued a 6-month loss of licence and his car was impounded. He will be summonsed to attend the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.
