Two drink drivers have been caught driving in Port Lincoln over the weekend.
About 10.15 pm, Friday 20 December, Port Lincoln police stopped a vehicle on Adelaide Place and submitted the driver to a breath test which returned a positive result.
The driver then refused to comply with a further breath analysis. Further checks revealed the 42-year-old man was driving with a disqualified licence.
He was reported for refusing a breath analysis and driving whilst disqualified. His vehicle was impounded and issued a 12 month loss of licence.
Just after 4.30 pm on Sunday 21 December, a vehicle was stopped on London Street at Port Lincoln and the driver submitted to a breath test which returned a positive result of 0.065. The 53-year-old woman was issued an expiation notice.
Police are reminding road users to engage in responsible driving behaviour whilst coming into the Christmas and New Year period.
