A woman has been arrested after driving an alleged stolen car in the Riverland overnight.
Just before 11.50 pm, Monday 11 November, police received report that a grey Nissan sedan was stolen from a premises in Berri.
Shortly after, about 12.10 am Tuesday 12 November, patrols were on Sturt Highway, Kingston on Murray when they sighted the Nissan and attempted to stop the vehicle.
The driver refused and patrols pursued the vehicle towards Lowbank where the vehicle was successfully spiked and became bogged on Burrows Road where patrols quickly arrested the driver.
Checks revealed the driver was unlicenced.
The 38-year-old woman from Surrey Downs was charged with illegal use, driving without a licence, engaging in police pursuit and fail to stop. She was refused police bail and will appear in the Berri Magistrates Court later today.
