A driver is lucky to escape with minor injuries after he rolled his car on the South Eastern Freeway at Urrbrae overnight.
Just after 11.30 pm, Monday 23 December, emergency services were called to the down track of the South Eastern Freeway after reports a white Holden sedan left the road and flipped onto its roof.
Thankfully, the driver and sole occupant of the Holden only sustained minor injuries.
The 39-year-old man from Verdun was reported for due care and refusing to comply with mandatory blood testing. He will be summonsed to appear in the Magistrates Court at a later date.
Crews remained on scene to clear up the flipped car which was towed from the scene.
This is a timely reminder for all road users to pay attention whilst using the roads.
