Fatal crash at Kybybolite

Emergency services responded to a single vehicle crash on Frances Road, Kybybolite just before midday on Thursday 23 January after a car hit a tree.

The driver, an 85-year-old woman from Naracoorte, was extracted from the car and taken to hospital by ambulance.

Sadly, she later died in hospital.

Major Crash are assisting local police with the investigation into the circumstances that led to the collision.

The woman's death is the 6th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year.
