Update: Serious crash at Cowandilla

Just after 6pm on Wednesday 5 June, emergency services were called to the intersection of Sir Donald Bradman Drive and Marion Road after reports of a truck colliding with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 34-year-old woman from Torrensville was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The truck driver, a 26-year-old man from Morphett Vale was uninjured and is assisting the investigation.

Roads were closed in the area for several hours but have since reopened.
