Serious crash at Nullarbor

Police are investigating following a serious crash on the Eyre Highway late last night.

Just after 11pm on Sunday 3 November, police and emergency services were called to Eyre Highway at Nullarbor after reports a car and truck collided.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla, a 28-year-old man, and the passenger, a 22-year-old woman both from Western Australia, were flown by Royal Flying Doctor Service to an Adelaide hospital where they are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck, a man aged in his 30s from Western Australia was uninjured however underwent mandatory testing.  He is assisting police with their enquiries.

The crash happened approximately 22km west of the Nullarbor Roadhouse.  There are speed restrictions in place until the scene is cleared this morning.  Please slow down and take care if driving in the area.
