Update: Serious crash at Parafield Gardens

A man remains in hospital with critical injuries after being struck by a utility.

About 9pm Wednesday 25 December, emergency services responded to reports of a car colliding with a pedestrian on Salisbury Highway at Parafield Gardens.

A 34-year-old man was struck by an Isuzu D Max utility and sustained life-threatening injuries, he was conveyed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle, a 59-year-old woman from Ferryden Park, is assisting police with enquiries.
