Update - Rider injured in Green Fields crash

Police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Salisbury Highway and Ryans Road about 2.10pm on Wednesday 19 March after a Kia sedan and Yamaha motorcycle collided.

The rider, a 22-year-old man from Pooraka, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was rushed to hospital. He remains in a stable condition and his injuries are not considered life threatening at this time.

The driver, an 81-year-old woman from Freeling was not injured.

Traffic on Salisbury Highway was down to one lane in each direction while traffic patrols and Major Crash Investigators examined the scene. The road reopened about 7.30pm.
