Weekend traffic wrapup for Whyalla

The following drivers have been caught drink driving over the weekend in the Whyalla area.

On Saturday 17th of August 24, police stopped a Toyota Station Wagon on Elliott Street, and breath tested the 23-year-old male driver who allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.126. His vehicle was impounded and issued a 6-month instant loss of licence.

Just before 4am on Sunday the 18th of August 24, police stopped a Holden Sedan on Cartledge Avenue and breath tested the driver who returned a reading of 0.064. The driver a 27-year-old woman was the holder of a learners permit and was driving unsupervised. She was issued with a fine for drink driving and driving unsupervised.

On Monday the 19th of August 24, police stopped a Mitsubishi sedan on Lacey Street and breath tested the48-year-old male driver who returned a reading of 0.193. His vehicle was impounded and he was issued 12-month instant loss of licence.
