Arrest after supermarket break at North Haven

A teenager has been arrested following a break-in at a supermarket at North Haven this morning.

Just before 12.30am on Monday 17 June police responded to reports of an alarm at an Osborne Road supermarket.

Patrols were quickly on scene and discovered a window had been smashed and an attempt made to open the cigarette cupboard inside.

Following investigation police attended at a North Haven address where they arrested a 15-year-old boy.

He has been charged with serious criminal trespass and has been bailed to the Port Adelaide Youth Court on 8 August.
