13 Nov 2024 6:12pm

On Wednesday 13 November, Detectives from the SA Police Public Protection Branch arrested a 38-year-old man from the southern suburbs and a 37-year-old man from the western suburbs for possession of child exploitation material.

The 38-year-old was refused police bail and will appear before the Christies Beach Magistrates Court tomorrow (Friday 14 November).

The 37-year-old was bailed to attend at Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 24 December.

Detective Inspector Erin Vanderwoude, Acting Officer in Charge, Special Crimes Investigation Section, states, “These are not just images on a screen, every image and every second of a video has a real child being abused and being subjected to a situation that no child should ever experience.” If you or someone you know are impacted by child sexual abuse and online exploitation there are support services available at www.accce.gov.au/support.
