Detectives have released a computer-generated image of a suspect involved in an assault at Brompton on Thursday.
About 8.10am on Thursday 27 March, a woman was jogging along a pathway which runs parallel to the train line near Coglin Street.
The woman jogged past a man walking in the same direction and soon after was grabbed from behind by the same man. The woman broke free and immediately alerted police. Thankfully she was not injured.
Western District responded and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 40’s to early 50’s, 178cm tall with a medium build, a beard and short straggly black/grey hair. He was wearing a dark jumper, tan pants and a tan coloured backpack.
Police have compiled a computer-generated image of the suspect in a bid to identify him.
