Breakers caught at Prospect

Police have arrested three people after they were caught breaking into a premises at Prospect last night.

About 11.50pm Tuesday 10 December, neighbours alerted police to suspects seen within a unit complex under construction on Devonport Terrace.

Western District police responded with PD Jax and discovered a roller door had been jemmied open to gain access to the property.

PD Jax quickly detained two people, and a third person was located hiding upstairs on a second floor.

The trio were caught in the process of stealing copper piping.

A 29-year-old man and 26-year-old woman from Findon, and a 34-year-old man from Devon Park were all charged with being unlawfully on premises. They were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 30 January.
