Brompton stabbing

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed at Brompton earlier this morning.

Just before 2.30am on Wednesday 23 October, police and emergency services were called to Chief Street at Brompton after reports of an assault.

The victim, a 31-year-old man from the address, alleges he was standing outside of his house and as he turned to head inside someone stabbed him in the leg and the arm.  He was taken to hospital by SAAS officers where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Patrols and PD Axe were quickly on scene and searched the area however were unable to locate the suspect.

Crime Scene officers and Western District Detectives attended at the scene this morning to investigate the incident.
