09 Nov 2024 6:49am

A man has suffered injuries after a crash at Hindmarsh this morning.

Just before 5.30 am this morning (Saturday 9 November) police were called to South Road after reports a black Holden sedan collided with a stobie pole, causing power lines to fall onto a footpath.

Paramedics were called to the scene and conveyed the driver to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

There were traffic restrictions on South Road between Ashwin Parade and Grange Road whilst SA Power Networks repaired the power lines. The road has since re-opened.

Police are investigating and anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au – you can remain anonymous.
