Drink driver crashes into parked car

About 9.30pm on Friday 22 November, Police were called to a two-car crash involving a Mazda M3 sedan and a parked Holden Commodore sedan on Hudson Street at Prospect.

The driver of the Mazda sedan was breath tested where he returned a positive result of 0.203.

Fortunately, there were no serious injuries as a result of the crash however the car was towed from the scene.

The driver, a 25-year-old man from Blair Athol, is a provisional licence holder and he was issued with a 12-month immediate loss of licence.  He was reported for drink driving and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
