Drug trafficking arrests

Police have arrested two people for drug trafficking in the western suburbs yesterday.

About 10am on Thursday 4 April, police attended and searched a Woodville Gardens address where they located seven grams of heroin, 11 grams of methamphetamine, two grams of LSD, 50 grams of dried cannabis, 500ml of GHB and items consistent with drug trafficking.  Police also located and seized knuckle dusters, knives, swords and a taser.

Police arrested a 42-year-old woman from the address and charged her with three counts of trafficking a controlled drug and possessing a prohibited weapon.  She was granted police bail to appear in Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 15 May.

A 35-year-man from Mansfield Park was also arrested and charged with three counts of drug trafficking.  He was refused police bail and will appear in Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
