Fire at Albert Park warehouse

14 Mar 2025 10:50am

Police are investigating a fire and suspicious behaviour at an Albert Park warehouse in the early hours of this morning.

About 3am, police and fire crews were called by a report of a fire outside a warehouse in May Street, Albert Park.

Just before 3am, a grey Ford sedan drove into the warehouse.  The driver had a verbal altercation with workers and then drove off.

The roller door was lowered and, moments later, workers noticed a fire outside.

The fire had self-extinguished before emergency services arrived.

It appears to have been a small fire with minimal damage to the roller door.

There were no reports of injury.

Investigations are continuing.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity or vehicles in the vicinity of the business overnight is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
