Kilkenny car fire

Just before 4.30am on Sunday 24 November, police and fire crews were called to Regency Road at Kilkenny after reports of a car on fire.

When patrols arrived the car was fully engulfed in flames which had extended to a nearby tree.

Residents of nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.

The fire was extinguished by MFS crews.
