A man has been arrested following a pursuit overnight.
About 12.30 am Thursday 9 January police sighted a Renault Koleos station wagon travelling on Tapleys Hill Road, Glenelg North without its lights on and speeding .
PolAir was nearby and was able to monitor the car throughout multiple suburbs where road spikes were successfully deployed on Everard Avenue, Ashford.
Police observed a man running from the vehicle and was located a short time later on James Congden Drive.
A 23-year-old man from Seaton was arrested and charged with engage in police pursuit, illegal use of motor vehicle, carry offensive weapon and prohibited weapon (knife and knuckle dusters), illegal use of motor vehicle and numerous traffic offences.
He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 25 February 2025.
