Police seeking assistance to identify owner of WW2 pins

Distinctive World War 2 era pins have been located in a stolen car in the western suburbs.

Just before 2.30pm on Saturday 22 June patrols spotted a Volkswagen hatchback travelling on Henley Beach Road.

Checks revealed the car had been stolen on 16 June from Paradise.

Police stopped the car and arrested the driver.

On searching the vehicle patrols located three distinctive World War 2 pins pictured below which they suspect to be stolen.

Police are seeking public assistance to locate the owner of the pins.

The 33-year-old arrested man from Henley Beach has been charged with illegal use and unlawful possession and will appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 12 September.
