Serious crash at Port Adelaide

Police are investigating a serious crash at Port Adelaide this afternoon.

A vehicle and electric scooter collided at the roundabout at the intersection of Dale Street and Church Street, Port Adelaide at 4.30pm on Sunday 30 June.

The scooter rider, a 43-year-old woman, was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car, a 67-year-old Rosewater woman, and her passenger were not injured, but were shaken by the incident.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene for examination.

The intersection was blocked to all traffic and buses for several hours while police, including Major Crash investigators, examined the scene but has reopened.
